Chief Executive Officer & President
Jeff Brady is the Chief Executive Officer and President at Avatar Solutions (formerly, Avatar International LLC and HR Solutions Inc.).
Prior to joining Avatar, Jeff was President and Chief Executive Officer at Advanced Health Media (AHM), a software and services provider of sales force logistics and regulatory compliance solutions for the global pharmaceutical/medical devices industry. During his tenure at AHM, Jeff drove a transformational growth strategy and led its operational execution that grew the company from under $10 million in annual revenue to over $400 million in annual revenue over a six-year timeframe. Jeff transformed the company from a services-only model to an enterprise-level, technology-enabled service provider. The company conceived of and developed patented workflow, regulatory compliance and financial management technology that is used by dozens of pharmaceutical companies, including 15 of the top 20 largest in the world.
Jeff was also a consultant with Marakon Associates, a top strategy consulting firm that provided value-based management advisory services to Fortune 500 companies. Jeff's clients included leading companies in the Aerospace and Defense and Financial Services industries.
Jeff was a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy for six years as Nuclear Submarine Officer aboard the USS Henry M. Jackson (SSBN730).
He received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Senior Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer
Marty Wehrle is the Senior Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at Avatar Solutions. Marty joined the Avatar team in 2012, and is responsible for leading the expansion of Avatar's technological capabilities, including innovating sophisticated reporting and business analytics capabilities. Marty has over 25 years of experience in the Information Technology field. Prior to joining Avatar, Marty served as Managing Director for Olenick and Associates, a provider of software testing, quality assurance, project management, and IT service management consulting services. Marty was also the CIO for two firms, where he was responsible for leading strategic Information Technology transformation initiatives. Marty holds a MS degree in Computer Science from DePaul University.
Senior Vice President of Performance Improvement
Lynn Ehrmantraut is the Senior Vice President of Performance Improvement for Avatar Solutions. She is responsible both externally and internally to set the agenda for Quality Improvement and Research Development aimed at improving the patient experience.
Externally Avatar shares its expertise in measuring and improving the patient experience of care, and wherever possible leads and shapes the national conversation. Internally this role provides oversight and direction to drive partner improvement through products and services that are of the highest quality, meeting regulatory and rigorous research specifications.
Lynn's training is in Health Information Management and she has 20-plus years experience in a variety of acute, behavioral and sub-acute healthcare settings, focused in the areas of performance improvement, customer service, risk management, informatics and accreditation. Prior organizations include Eisenhower Medical Center, The Betty Ford Center and Quorum Health Resources.
She joined the Avatar team in 2001 after having experienced first-hand the Avatar products and services available over a span of 10 years.
Lynn's MBA is from the University of Phoenix, undergraduate degree in Health Information Administration from the College of St. Scholastica. She is a Registered Health Information Administrator and certified quality professional through NAHQ's CPHQ certification program.
Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Jean Neiner is the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Avatar Solutions. Jean joined the Avatar team in 2012 and has over 30 years of healthcare experience. Her responsibilities at Avatar consist of acquiring new partners, growing revenue, expanding market share, retaining current partners, streamlining sales operations, marketing and brand management.
Prior to joining Avatar, Jean was Chief Growth Officer at Krames StayWell where she provided strategic oversight and was responsible for driving revenue growth and managing client retention for print and interactive solutions. During her tenure at Krames StayWell, Jean also served as Vice President, Red Cross Strategic Business Alliance overseeing sales, marketing, product development and customer service for both the American Red Cross and Canadian Red Cross publishing partnerships. Before working at Krames StayWell, Jean spent over 20 years at Mosby (the healthcare division of Times Mirror now part of Elsevier Health Sciences) serving in various leadership positions such as sales, customer service, new business development, marketing, accounts receivable, and finance.
As a graduate of Lindenwood University, Jean currently resides in Orlando, FL. Jean enjoys traveling and experiencing new cuisines. She loves to cook, read and spend time with family and friends.
Chief Administrative Officer
Angela Fieler is the Chief Administrative Officer at Avatar Solutions and is responsible for leading deliberately planned organization wide efforts to increase Avatar's effectiveness and efficiency. She works across the patient experience and workforce engagement businesses and is focused on both helping the CEO solve high level issues and creating a focus on internal development of both people and processes.
Angela is uniquely suited for this role. She has over 20 years of experience in healthcare administration in inpatient, outpatient, physician office and administrative settings. Her responsibilities have included quality improvement, customer service, data analysis, human resources, and public relations. She joined the Avatar team in 2004 after having been a user of Avatar's products and services for four years. Angela has consulted with many Avatar clients on how to improve their relationships with patients, employees, and physicians. After developing Avatar's Performance Improvement, Customer Service, and Training/Implementation functions, Angela assumed responsibility for leading all survey production and report writing functions. She also been, and remains, an integral part of Avatar's Product Development process.
Angela earned her MPA from George Mason University (Fairfax, Virginia), and her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Saint Leo College in Saint Leo, FL. She received over 120 hours of training in quality improvement theory and practice from the U.S. Navy and she is a Certified Performance Improvement Associate and a Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence with the American Society for Quality. Angela has facilitated many clinical and operational quality improvement projects.
Angela is an outdoor enthusiast. Her current passions are sand volleyball, growing orchids, and rearranging her landscaping. She is actively involved in the music ministry at her church.
Vice President of Operations
Meredith Boza is the Vice President of Operations for Avatar Solutions and is responsible for the overall survey operations to ensure top quality survey generation, administration, data collection and data reporting. Specifically, she is responsible for the leadership, guidance, and management of the firm's Workforce and Patient Experience Survey Operations, Workforce Project Management, and Quality and Compliance teams. Meredith has in-depth expertise in operations management, quality control, and process improvement, including proficiency in Six Sigma process improvement methodology.
Meredith received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN. Prior to joining Avatar Solutions, Meredith was a Six Sigma Black Belt for IRI (formerly SymphonyIRI Group), a leading provider of market information and solutions for the consumer package goods industry.
Outside of the office, Meredith enjoys cooking, expanding her cookbook collection, and traveling. She is originally from Lake Bluff, IL, and currently resides in Chicago, where she lives with her husband Brad and their dog Bruce.
Vice President, Training & Development
Since joining Avatar Solutions in 2003, Jason Macedonia has led Avatar's expansion and development and has facilitated quality improvement efforts with hundreds of healthcare organizations. Jason has established strategic relationships with large GPOs including the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC), Novation, VHA, and Quorum Health Resources (QHR) as well as with renowned healthcare organizations including Kaiser Permanente and Mayo Clinic. He has trained thousands of service leaders on improvement tools and resources made available by Avatar's reporting systems and has presented at strategic planning sessions for organizations nationally.
Jason earned his BA in Business Management, and his MBA from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. Prior to joining Avatar he facilitated educational training for team members with the Orlando Science Center, where he also created and launched their first internship program.
Outside of work, Jason is an avid beach volleyball player and enjoys singing and guitar. He has also travelled extensively through Europe and has led mission work in Mexico and Jamaica.
Chief Financial Officer
Peter Vlerick joined the Avatar team in July, 2013. He previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Servigistics, Inc., a private equity backed global provider of software solutions that allow Fortune 3000 companies to optimize their service businesses. At Servigistics, Peter helped grow the business, both organically and acquisitively, and establish the Company as the leader in the Service Lifecycle Management (SLM) space. Servigistics was sold to PTC (Nasdaq: PMTC), a $1.3 billion global software Company, for $220 million in October 2012.
Peter is a Certified Public Accountant and he graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Accounting from Boston College and has an MBA from University of Chicago.
